Ava is a multi-talented singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (fiddle/guitar) known for her regular performances with the renowned Irish folk group Na Leanai. Carrying on a formidable family legacy (her grandmother Anne Sands began her career on the stage of Carnegie Hall) Ava brings a "fresh energy" and technical versatility to every stage. Her sound is shaped by a wide range of influences—from the legendary storytelling of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan to the modern voices of Gracie Abrams, Billie Eilish, and Catherine McGrath—creating a contemporary approach that is breathing new life into the genre.
